An Innovative Understanding of the Professional Developmental
Approaches of the Teaching Staff in Distance Education

Abstract: The social value of distance education has already been given a global concern by the general public and the professional development of teachers, the main force of distance education, has become its main focus in the educational circle. The approaches of professional development differ, but this paper has come up with some innovative ideas, including training of educational technology in distance education, teaching and learning research activities, educational blogs, teaching and learning reflections, teaching groups, and the influencing ability of educators. A clear study of the developmental track of the newtype teachers reveals that every approach plays an unpredicted role in the whole course, the resultant force of which is vital to the improvement of teaching quality.
