基于符号学的中外远程高等院校主页文化之比较

【摘要】高等院校作为一个国家教育系统的重要组成部分,往往具有标识性的作用和地位。而以互联网为平台建立的高等院校的主页,则是该院校文化的重要反映,它们为网络世界的大众提供了直观了解和感受这些院校内部活动和文化的一个独特视角。本文运用符号学的方法,通过对国内外六所远程高等院校主页的分析和解读,一方面试图探索这些院校彼此间的文化差异,另一方面期望能够以此推动远程开放教育院校文化内涵的建设,推进国内远程教育文化内涵的发展进程。

Comparison among Homepages of Distance Education Institutions

at Home and Abroad from the Perspective of Semiotic

Abstract: Higher education is an important part of national education system. The homepages of distance education institutions reflect the culture of an institution.  Homepages provide a unique perspective for viewers around the world to have an intuitive understanding of their activities and culture. Through analysis of home pages of six distance education institutions in China and abroad, the paper tries to explore the cultural differences between these institutions, and promote the culture construction of open distance education institutions, in a hope to promote the development of distance education culture in China.
