虚拟工作社区员工中心度与工作绩效相关性研究

【摘要】随着Internet的快速发展,虚拟社区逐渐被引入员工的工作与学习中。然而,国内外已有文献对于虚拟学习社区的研究较多,对于虚拟工作社区的研究则较少。虚拟工作社区,就是将虚拟社区作为工作的场所与载体。本文针对虚拟工作社区进行研究,旨在通过对员工中心度的测量,揭示其与员工工作绩效的关系。本研究选择北京大学网络教育学院的网络辅导教师为研究对象,选择一定时期的大量帖子进行内容分析,主要采用SPSS计量分析方法和社会网络分析法,计算社会网络结构,测量员工中心度,并进行假设检验。研究发现,虚拟工作社区中员工中心度与工作绩效存在正相关的关系;中心度与性别也存在正相关的关系;在线时长是导致性别差异的主要因素,在显著水平0.01下,男性在线时长显著长于女性。

Correlation Study between Employees Degree Centrality

 and Their Job Performance in Virtual Work Community

Abstract: With the rapid development of the Internet, virtual community is gradually introduced to employees' work and learning. Currently, there are more studies on virtual learning communities than on virtual work communities. The goal of this research is to explore the correlation between employees' degree centrality and their work performance, through employee degree centrality measurement. Findings of this study can be used to motivate employees to upgrade their center, in order to improve their work performance. This study selects tutors from School of Distance Learning in Peking University as the research subjects, and it samples a period of substantial posts for content analysis. This study mainly uses SPSS quantitative analysis method and social network analysis, to calculate the structure of social network measurement center and to test the hypothesis. The results show a positive correlation between employees' degree centrality and job performance. Degree centrality also has positive correlations to gender. Gender differences are reflected on time spent online. At the significant level of 0.01, male participants' online time is significantly longer than that of the female participants.
